What’s New For 2022 ?
For the 2022, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee L comes with minor changes. The buyers will now have the option to go for a dual screen rear entertainment system with Amazon fire TV integration along with a new 10.3 inch infotainment system. The Limited models can be opted with a black trim instead of a chrome one and new 20 inch wheels and a 21 inch optional. And three new colours are add to the Grand Cherokee L this year.
Engine, Transmission, 0-60 mph, Top Speed & Performance
The new Grand Cherokee L, comes onboard with either a 3.6 Litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine which makes 293 hp and 260 lb ft of torque or the 6.4 Litre twin-turbocharged V8 which produces over 357 hp & 390 lb ft of torque, just like the Grand Cherokee. Both are paire with an eight speed automatic transmission, and all wheel drive. It can go from 0-60 mph run in 6.2 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 117 mph. And just as the perky V6 which is decent enough, we all know where our eyes will lash onto, the raging V8 with it’s rumbling and roaring sounds but regardless of which variant you go for, the mighty Jeep delivers a consistent and an impressive performance with a comforting ride and a lot to get a hang on with.
The steering is nice and responsive, just as the throttle and the brake pedal and is nice and firm. To add extra capabilities, Jeep also provides an optional air suspension for that extra smooth and comfortable ride and more ground clearance. And like the brand’s reputation, the new Grand Cherokee L delivers a lot of fun with it’s off-roading abilities for which the brand is popular for. And for the nerds who seek the towing capacity of the new three row Jeep, it’s 6200 pounds for the V6 and 7200 pounds for the V8 model.

Fuel Economy | Mileage
While the V6 is a lot more fuel efficient with a mileage of 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway, and with the V8 it delivers a mileage of 14 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway and a drop of 1 mpg with the all wheel drive on both models.
