The 2022 Mercedes Benz T-Class makes its debut in the European markets.

In the past years, the demand for lightweight commercial vehicles has been increasing rapidly. Major brands like Ford, Volkswagen, and Renault have shown their interest in compact vehicles. They can be used for personal and commercial use. Now the segment is joined by a much more premium compact vehicle, the Mercedes T-Class.

Mercedes has launched the new Mercedes-Benz T-Class in Europe. It is based on the structure of the Renault Kangoo, which debuted in November 2020. The new T-Class is more luxurious, more elegant, and is more expensive, compared to the Kangoo. It features a much more premium appearance in terms of looks, features, tech, etc. As it is based on the Kangoo, its resemblance is very much more noticeable from its side profile. It comes. with a major overhaul, a completely redesigned front fascia, a new wheel design, and different colour options.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz T-Class comes with a variety of engine options. Two diesel-powered engines and two gasoline engines are more powerful. The base 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine makes 95 and 116 horsepower. And a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that makes 102 and 131 horsepower. All will come with a six-speed manual transmission as standard. the automatic option coming later this year. It will have a top speed of 130 mph.
As the T-Class will be a premium model. It will come with a 7-inch touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a multifunction steering wheel. It Will include features like keyless entry and engine start option and interior LED ambient lighting. There will be two trim levels, each with a different exterior and interior trims. The new T-Class will come with seven airbags as standard. The all-new Mercedes-Benz T-Class will start with a price of €30,000 ($32,000) for the base 1.3-liter gasoline engine.
