Overview
Mercedes has been producing a series of electric vehicles in the name of Mercedes-EQ since 2019. The company’s first electric vehicle was unveiled at Paris Motor Show in 2016 as a concept. Since the first vehicle came on the market in 2019 many variants were released and the company is planning to make a futuristic electric vehicle by at least 2030 with the name Vision EQXX and a range of 1,000 KM (621 miles). The vehicle was driven from Stuttgart to Goodwood, a distance of 747 miles on a single charge. This sedan has got a teardrop-shaped body, with a few active spoilers and a multi-piece diffuser, And it gains a record-breaking drag coefficient of just 0.17. The wheel base being 110.2-inches the vehicle is too long especially when the diffuser extends out to 7.8 inches. The vehicle got 20-inch magnesium wheels and carbon fiber doors with a high-strength steel body structure.
Performance
The Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX has a rear-mounted radial-flux motor that delivers a maximum of 241 horsepower. But this vehicle takes a time of around 7.0-seconds to accelerate from 0-60-mph and has a top speed of just 87 mph. Which shows that it is not made for initial sprints. This vehicle gives a good driving experience even though there is noise from the powertrain and a little air turbulence.
