The 2023 Audi SQ5 offers upscale looks and a handsomely-designed interior and power-packed performance that can be your best premium SUV. The SQ5 takes the winnings from the RS Q5 and the simplistic elements of the regular Q5 result in an enthusiastic driving experience. What’s New?
For 2023, the SQ5 comes standard with adaptive cruise control for all models. The Premium Plus trim now comes with a Bang & Olufsen sound system inside the car for that awesome sound experience. Outside, the new SQ5 now adds a new exterior paint option called the Chronos Gray. Apart from these minor tweaks and addition, the new SQ5/ SQ5 Sportback goes unchanged for the 2023 model year.
Engine Specifications & Performance
A powerful 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 powers the Audi SQ5 producing over 349 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. The power delivery is smooth and feels almost instantaneous especially when paired with its 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive. The SQ5 is rapid with its acceleration from 0-60 mph in under 5.1 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph. The acceleration is not that quick compared with the Mercedes GLC43 (4.5 sec) but is plenty enough.
The steering feels responsive and light and offers sharp and precise handling throughout the ride. The transmission is quick and shifts gears quickly that you never know it and the all-wheel drive works flawlessly. The rear steering all-wheel drive helps the car to provide maximum traction and agility for the smooth and confident cornering across the turns. The ride quality is not the best in the class but is amazingly fast with brilliant levels of comfortability in mind.
