2023 Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger are coming with a bang for the last time as Dodge is planning an electrified future. They are launching seven new “heritage-influenced” models for the next year. These are going to be very special models. We will miss that high-pitched whine of superchargers and that smell of burning rubber. The future is EV so, “Last Call” plaques will be featured under the hood of Challenger and Charger to denote the final edition of the ICE version of these cars. Dodge has not provided any details for any of its models. They only said that each will share a connection with an iconic model from the muscle car era of the 1960s and 1970s. As per Motor1, we will get to know about six of the new models later this year. Dodge will reveal the seventh at 2022’s SEMA show in November.
2023 Dodge Challenger
Dodge is going to end its thumping V8 era with the seven special models. Of these seven models, six will share a connection to a past Dodge icon. It will be an emotional moment for all the gearheads as the powerful American gas-powered muscle cars are finally coming to an end. After that everything about Dodge will be electric. The seventh edition will make its debut in 2022’s SEMA show in November alongside the Charger. Dodge says It will be “the very last of its kind”. For sure it is going to be very special for all of us and Dodge will feature a special “Last Call” plaque under the hood of all 2023 Challengers that will be designed in “Auburn Hills” and will be “Assembled in Brampton”.
Dodge will also increase Paint options for the three same heritage editions and 14 exterior options of the challenger. 2023 Challenger R/T models will also feature a “345” fender badging that will signify the 345-cubic-inch engine that will car will come fitted with. Dodge will offer a process that will allow customers to get a third-party convertible modification through Drop Top Customs. Customers will have to pay the amount of $25,999 for that. Dodge will offer full support to the customers to achieve the car they want.
2023 Dodge Charger
Dodge Charger will be offering seven 2023 special-edition models that they teased during a promotional effort that Dodge called “Speed Week”. Dodge Charger will also feature a “Last Call” plaque under its hood with a silhouette and the vehicle name. Charger’s plaque will also be “Designed in Auburn Hills and “Assembled in Brampton”. Dodge will be offering 14 exterior paint options. They will bring back the three heritage colors: B5 Blue, Plum Crazy Purple, and Sublime Green. Dodge Charger will sure be a car to look for. Dodge will offer Jailbreak models to the charger Hellcat models that were exclusive to the Hellcat Redeye. Pricing and Ordering info is not available yet.
