2023 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is a kind of four-door sedan that looks very different. This year, Dodge is celebrating the final model year for the current-gen Charger SRT Hellcat by making the Jailbreak package available on both the Redeye and non-Redeye models. All 2023 Chargers will sport a special “Last Call” plaque under the hood as a tribute to the final production run before Dodge switches to a new generation of performance cars featuring electrified powertrains.
Engine & Performance

While, the Redeye features an enhanced version of the Hellcat engine, which pumps out 797 hp and 707-pound-feet. The competently named Jailbreak package gives a boost to 807-hp. These ultimate Chargers will not show mercy to anyone wanting power, which is directed to the rear wheels via a quick-shifting eight-speed automatic. The regular Hellcat blasts to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. While the Hellcat Redeye amazingly hits 60 mph in 3.5 ticks and covers the quarter in 11.5 seconds at 126 mph. With that kind of power, drivers must carefully apply the gas pedal to maintain traction. As those big rear tires are expensive to replace. The standard widebody setup helps improve the super-sedan’s body control and cornering grip from wider, stickier tires and stiffer chassis components.

All Charger SRT Hellcat models are equipped with an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration as standard. If money wasn’t a problem, we’d recommend spending the extra cash and getting the more powerful Redeye model. It houses the same desirable standard features as well as some unique content of its own, such as a 220-mph red speedometer and a smattering of Redeye logos. We’d suggest upgrading the inside with the optional Carbon and Suede Interior package that covers the headliner in microsuede and various trim pieces with real carbon fiber.
