2023 Kia Seltos Price Hike Details

Kia India introduced the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift in July with an initial price of Rs. 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom). However, starting from October 1, 2023, Kia plans to increase the prices across all Seltos variants, a somewhat unexpected move during the festive season when discounts are more common. The price hike is likely to affect all versions, with an estimated increase of up to 2 percent. Additionally, Kia recently added two new ADAS-equipped variants, GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S), priced at Rs. 19.40 lakh and Rs. 19.60 lakh, respectively (all prices, ex-showroom).

The facelifted Kia Seltos boasts a range of new features and design enhancements. It showcases updated LED DRLs, refreshed LED headlamps, and a stylish LED light bar along the tailgate. The SUV also flaunts newly designed dual-tone alloy wheels and an advanced interior with dual 10.25-inch screens – one for the fully digital instrument console and the other for the infotainment system. Notably, it replaces the traditional gear lever with a rotary dial for added modernity and convenience.

The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift offers a versatile range of powertrain options to cater to various preferences. Drivers can choose from three engine variants, including a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-liter diesel, and an all-new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. Transmission choices are equally diverse, with options such as a six-speed manual, CVT, iMT, automatic torque converter, and a seven-speed DCT gearbox, ensuring a suitable match for different driving styles and needs.

Price Hike

Kia is set to increase the prices of its popular Seltos SUV, including the new ADAS-equipped variants, by up to 2 percent starting from October 1, 2023. This price adjustment follows the SUV’s recent facelift launch with introductory prices ranging from Rs 10.89 lakh to Rs 19.80 lakh. The ADAS-enabled GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S) variants were also introduced at Rs 19.40 lakh and Rs 19.60 lakh, respectively. Kia is likely to implement a 5 percent price hike across all variants of its Carens MPV. The increases range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000, affecting models priced between Rs 10.45 lakh and Rs 18.95 lakh.
