2023 MG ZS EV Price Reduced Details
MG Motors has made its electric SUV, the 2023 MG ZS EV, more affordable by reducing its prices drastically and increasing the value for money quotient. The ZS EV now starts at a competitive price of Rs. 22.88 lakh (ex-showroom). This electric SUV offers three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Exclusive Pro.
The Exclusive and Exclusive Pro variants even allow you to choose the Iconic Ivory interior option. The Excite variant sees a price reduction of Rs. 50,000, while the Exclusive and Exclusive Pro variants enjoy more substantial price cuts of Rs. 2,30,000 and Rs. 2,00,000, respectively. This move makes the MG ZS EV even more appealing to potential electric vehicle buyers in India.
2023 MG ZS EV Interior and Features
The MG ZS EV boasts an array of impressive features that enhance both its convenience and safety. These include a digital key, a 10.11-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, and a dual-pane panoramic sky roof. It has a suite of safety features such as a 360-degree camera with rear parking sensors, and six airbags.
The ZS EV got updated earlier this year with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which encompass 17 features like Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Speed Assist System (SAS), and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
Battery and Performance
The MG ZS EV gets a 50.3 kWh battery pack and a Permanent Magnet Synchronous electric motor. This dynamic combination produces an impressive total output of 174 bhp and a peak torque of 280 Nm. The SUV boasts a range of 461 km on a single charge, offering drivers the flexibility to go the distance. Additionally, the ZS EV offers three distinct driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport, providing a versatile driving experience. It has a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of approximately 8.5 seconds.
Price Reduction
MG Motor India has significantly reduced the prices of its ZS EV electric SUV in the Indian market, making it even more appealing to potential buyers. The ZS EV, now priced between Rs. 22.88 lakh and Rs. 25.90 lakh (ex-showroom India), is offered in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Exclusive Pro. Customers can also opt for the dual-tone Iconic Ivory interior for an extra Rs. 10,000. This pricing adjustment makes the top-end variant available for Rs. 26 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, the Excite trim is now Rs. 50,000 cheaper, the Exclusive trim is reduced by Rs. 2.30 lakh, and the Exclusive Pro is approximately Rs. 2 lakh more affordable.
