2023 Kia Seltos Facelift price slashed, making it more affordable and easier for buyers
Kia India has made silent updates to the prices of the 2023 Seltos facelift making it more affordable for select variants. The price reduction is by Rs. 2,000 and starts from the HTX variants onwards. However, this reduction comes with a notable change – the deletion of the one-touch rolling power windows on the HTX and above variants.
The one-touch rolling power windows feature will now be exclusive to the Seltos X-Line, retaining all four windows, while the lower variants will only have this feature on the driver’s side. The affected variants include HTX and HTX Plus in both petrol and diesel iterations, as well as the Seltos GTX and GTX Plus variants for the turbocharged petrol and diesel models.
New Price:
As a result of this update, the Kia Seltos facelift HTX range now starts from Rs. 15.18 lakh, while the Seltos GTX range starts from Rs. 19.38 lakh, both prices being ex-showroom. This change comes shortly after Kia increased prices on the new Seltos by up to Rs. 30,000.
Despite the adjustment in prices and features, the Seltos facelift continues to offer a range of impressive features, including dual 10.25-inch screens for instrumentation and infotainment, safety features like ADAS, six airbags, ESC, disc brakes on all wheels, a 360-degree camera, head-up display, and more.
Engine & Performance:
The SUV’s mid-life facelift earlier in the year introduced design changes like a new bumper, larger grille, redesigned headlamps, and revised LED DRLs. The feature list is complemented by updated interiors with slimmer AC vents, new HVAC controls, and more soft-touch materials. The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift retains various engine options, such as the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, the 1.5-litre turbo diesel, and the more powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol unit.
Despite the recent changes, the Seltos facelift continues to maintain a considerable waiting period, indicating its popularity in the market.
