Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Specifications & Features
The subcompact SUV class’s fashionista in 2023 is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, which is sure to draw attention. Unfortunately, it falls short of the segment leaders in terms of practicality. It’s interior size and cargo capacity aren’t as roomy as those of competitors like the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLB-class, and Volvo XC40. These SUVs are also more enjoyable to drive than the Evoque. Two turbocharged four-cylinder engines are available for the Evoque, but neither will save you much money at the pump due to their average fuel efficiency. The Evoque’s eye-catching design, streamlined interior, and cachet as a luxury brand are what make it appealing. Additionally, compared to certain lower-riding competitors, its elevated sitting position gives it a more SUV-like feel.
What’s New?
For the 2023 model year, the Evoque remains mostly unaltered, however, it now integrates Amazon Alexa. The voice assistant is a standard feature across the lineup and operates through the Pivi Pro infotainment system in the Evoque.
Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Engine, Power, Performance & Acceleration
The P250, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 246 horsepower, and all-wheel drive is standard on the Evoque. The Evoque achieved a zero-to-60 mph time of 7.1 seconds on the test track. Although competitors like the BMW X1 and Volvo XC40 offered marginally faster times, the Land Rover is still fiercely competitive. Only the highest-spec HST R-Dynamic is equipped with the more potent P300 powerplant. This powerful 296-horsepower engine receives assistance from a 48-volt hybrid system. The P300 achieved a 6.6-second zero to 60 mph time on the test track. The Evoque can’t be mistaken for a hatchback on the road like the X1 can. The seat height is acceptable for an SUV, and it has a robust feel.
