The 2023 Lincoln Corsair debut is right around the corner on September 12 and new details about the SUV have surfaced again. The new teaser shows a large grille hiding behind the shadows and new daytime running lights (DRLSs). Thanks to many citings and spy images from July, we know the new Corsair will support a larger grille design. The 2023 Corsair will take the design philosophy from the Lincoln Navigator. With new changes to the bumper as well as the headlights, most of the details are still in mystery.
Despite the spy shots and citings of the upcoming SUV, we are not certain about the car’s details as it was heavily camouflaged. It means we are expecting the updates on the front as well as some minor tweaks. Apart from that, we estimate the new Corsair will feature some upgrades under its hood and engine.
The 2023 Lincoln Corsair to feature 2.0-liter, 2.3-liter, or 2.5-liter turbocharged engine options with a plug-in hybrid powertrain on the table. The engine options will make up to 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. We expect an all-electric Corsair-E set to hit production in 2026. The Corsair plug-in hybrid will have an acceleration time from 0-60 mph in under 5.8 seconds.
All will come to the light as the 2023 Corsair official debut is right around the edge on September 12. All we know now is that the new Corsair will offer an improved powertrain and performance upgrades.
