Overview

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class isn’t as punchier as its AMG tuned variant E53 roaring 429 HP. Its interior is luxurious as well as techy with dual display. The E350 comes with 4-Cylinder turbocharged engine but E450 offers V6 turbocharged engine. It is available in sedan as option but in coupe and cabriolet it is standard.

What’s new For 2022 ?

Automatic high-beam headlights are now standard for all variants. The new paints are added to the list includes Nautical Blue Metallic, Starling Blue Metallic, Manufaktur Moonlight White and Manufacktur Starling Blue Metallic.

Pricing & features

The pricing for Mercedes-Benz E-class starts from $56,000 for the E350 sedan. The E450 range starts from $63,800 to $66,850 and $73,950 for the sedan, coupe and cabriolet respectively.

The features include blind-spot monitoring, heated front seats with memory functions, fully digital dashboard, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with MBUX software. Heated steering wheel, heads-up display, air-suspension, front seats with massage functions are offered as optional.

The safety features include adaptive cruise control with stop and go technology, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist.

Engine, Top Speed, 0-60mph & Performance

The base variant of Mercedes-Benz E-class E350 comes with 4-Cylinder turbocharged engine making out 255 Horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque mated to 9-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels or all the 4 wheels which is optional. The more powerful E450 variant comes with V6 turbocharged engine with 48-volt hybrid system producing 362 HP and 369 pound-feet of torque.

The E-class is comfort biased and that’s why its handling is not that much satisfying in corners.

Fuel Economy | Mileage

The 4-Cylinder powered E350 gives mileage of 22 mpg in city and 31 mpg on highway with rear wheel drive but with all-wheel drive it claims 22 mpg in city and 30 mpg on highway. Surprisingly more powerful E450 earns mileage of 23 mpg in city while 30 mpg on highway.
