The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE is the best sedan you can buy if you don’t have the budget for buying the flagship EQS sedan. The EQE shares most of its features and bodywork with its elder siblings like the design, chassis, and features. It comes with the same super luxurious cabin with great headroom and legroom and features a similar amount of advanced technology you can see in the EQS. The streamlined design starts from the front and ends at the rear with the beautiful sloping roof. The power comes from the single or dual electric motor options that deliver up to 402 hp with its top-spec EQE500 variant and delivers over 300 miles of range.

The 2023 Mercedes EQE is a completely new model in the brand’s lineup. The EQE will sit right below the EQS sedan and is expected to hit the dealership later this year. 

Specifications, Performance, Top Speed & 0-60 Mph

The all-electric EQE comes in two variants with different performance specs to fit every kind of people’s needs. The entry-level EQE350+ model comes with a single motor design that is capable of producing 288 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in under 5.6 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 130 mph. While the top-spec EQE500 model comes with two electric motors that make 402 horsepower and come with all-wheel drive and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 4.7 seconds and can flat out at 130 mph.

Both models offer a rear-wheel steering system and air suspension setup as standard. Both models are capable of delivering a quirky and smooth performance with good cornering and that too with super silence. One could never think the power is lacking with the new 2023 EQE. For someone who wants more out of the EQE will have to wait for the AMG-spec version which will come out soon. 

Battery: Range and Charging

The 2023 EQE comes on board with a 90 kWh battery which delivers an expected driving range of up to 300 miles with the entry-level EQE350+ model. The car can be charged from 10 to 100 percent in just 9.5 hours with the supplied 240-volt Level 2 charger. Mercedes also offers DC fast charging with the EQE which could charge it to 80 percent in just 31 minutes

Pricing

Although Mercedes hasn’t announced any information regarding the price of the new EQE. But we estimated the entry-level EQE350+ model will start at around $70,000 while the top-spec EQE500 will start at around $85,000 considering it will sit below the EQS sedan. We will update the information as the German giant announces the price of the new car.
