Mitsubishi Outlander is a compact SUV. It was initially launched in 2001 in the name of Mitsubishi Airtrek and had already had four generations before the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander. Even though the third row is not practical in this segment of cars they managed to put it and made this one of the most affordable three-row transportation cars in their previous versions. But due to its impracticability, it was removed in the 2021 version of the vehicle. Mitsubishi Outlander also came to the market in plugin hybrids and became very popular for its immediate response and ride quality but a well-known fact is that these vehicles were not efficient. The company came with its new 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander and released it in late 2021.
What’s New ?
The 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander came with an all-new design. The front of the vehicle is provided with the LED daylight running lights and LED headlamps separately. Speaking about the interior the new Outlander offers leather seats for its top models. The instrument cluster is made 12 inches and has a head-up display. The wheels are changed to 20-inch ones to cope with the design of the vehicle. The roof of the vehicle is equipped with a panoramic sunroof to give the vehicle a more expensive look but the vehicle is still provided with the third row despite of its impracticability.
Engine, Transmission, 0-60 mph, Top Speed & Performance
The new Outlander is equipped with a 2.5L DOHC 16-valve inline-4 cylinder engine. Which is capable of generating a maximum power output of 181 hp at 6000 rpm and a torque of 181 lb-ft at 3600 rpm. And the vehicle can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 8.2 sec and from 0-100 mph in 23.9 sec. The vehicle has a top speed of 120 mph and can cover 1/4 mile in 16.3 sec at the speed of 86 mph. When tested for Roadholding on a 300-ft-dia skidpad the vehicle gave a result of 0.85 g which is good for such type of vehicle.

The 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander has an MPG rating of 24 in the city, 30 on the highway, and a combined rating of 26 according to EPA but while testing this vehicle on highway it gave a rating of 26 mpg and a range of 370 miles. These economy ratings are quite good when compared to a few other vehicles.
