Nissan has announced the pricing of the all-new 2023 Nissan Z in Japan. However, the press release stated that it will delay the launch of the new Nissan Z in Japan sometime around this summer. The official launch was expected to happen in June.
A Nissan spokesperson confirmed that it will have to delay the launch of the car in the U.S as well. And as expected it will go on sale later this summer. Nissan had said that the 2023 Z would arrive in US dealers sometime this spring. Summer comes on June 21 this year.
Nissan Z Price In Japan
When the Z does go on sale in Japan, it will start at a price of ¥5,241,500 ($41,000) with the entry-level model. The entry-level model is named Fairlady Z. It’ll include either a six-speed manual transmission or a nine-speed automatic. The top-spec versions, ST and Prolo will start at a price of ¥6,462,500 and ¥6,966,300 ($50,650 and $54,500) regardless of the transmission options.
Nissan hasn’t announced any details of the new Z for the U.S models. But the company has said earlier that the new Z will start at a price of $40,000. We don’t have the full information regarding its trim levels and models for the U.S, but a leaked order guide from January provides some details as to what to expect.
Engine, Performance, 0-60 MPH & Top Speed
The 2023 Z will come with a twin-turbocharged V6 engine that will produce 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. It could reach from zero to 60 mph in under five seconds and has a top speed of 170 mph. The 2023 Nissan Z will start at a price of $40,000.
The delay has been caused by the ongoing worldwide supply chain shortage of semiconductor chips. It has affected many carmakers including Nissan.
