The German company just announced a three-rowed electric SUV Volkswagen ID.8. The SUV will be addition to the ID.6 line-up. The ID.8 will bring a tough competition to the Chinese market. The batteries of the ID.8 is will have a larger capacity than the ID.6 owing to its huge size and more weight. Rear-wheel drive will likely be standard, but a dual-motor and all-wheel-drive arrangement will probably be optional. Like the ID.4, the ID.8 is expected to be offered in base, Pro, and Pro S trims and may also be offered in a limited-run 1stEdition model for its first model year.
