The Valhalla’s design showcases an exaggerated grille, sleek bodywork, and dihedral doors, while its twin-turbo V8 and plug-in-hybrid system deliver 998 horsepower, a top speed of 217 mph, and a 2.5-second zero-to-62-mph time. The SF90, on the other hand, boasts a 986-hp powertrain with a twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors, and an optional SF90 XX variant pushes the power to 1016 horses. The SF90 offers a luxurious interior with premium materials and a driver-centric layout but comes with a steep base price, placing it in the exclusive realm of the wealthiest buyers.

Engine & Performance
The Valhalla is getting a strong plug-in hybrid engine. It has a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 from Mercedes-AMG, which is kind of special. This engine sends power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. There are also electric motors that power the front wheels and are part of the transmission. Altogether, the Valhalla has a whopping 998 hp. The gearbox has an electric reverse and a fancy electronically controlled thing in the back for better performance.
Price & Mileage
Aston Martin plans to make only 999 Valhallas, and they’ll come with a hefty price tag of around $800,000 each. The official EPA ratings and charging details for the Valhalla plug-in hybrid are still pending, but the manufacturer suggests a purely electric range of slightly more than 9 miles. Considering high-performance V8 engines aren’t exactly known for fuel efficiency, the standalone V8 might not go much beyond 15 mpg combined.
Acceleration & Features
With a swift eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and handy paddle shifters, the Valhalla dashes from 0-62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. Aston Martin has its sights set on a Nurburgring lap time of only six-and-a-half minutes. Surprisingly, despite its high-performance capabilities, the Valhalla can cruise in EV-only mode up to speeds of 80 mph. When the V8 kicks in, the top speed soars to an impressive 217 mph. While details about the Valhalla’s infotainment system are limited, it’s confirmed to support Aston’s upcoming user interface, featuring a touchscreen. The first is for the brand. Expect essential software like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with built-in navigation and a robust audio system.
Ferrari SF90
Engine & Performance
The SF90 packs a punch with power coming from a robust V8 and three electric motors. The 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 brings a mighty 769 hp on its own, and the trio of electric motors adds another 217 hp. Altogether, the gas/electric powertrain churns out a total of 986 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. What’s unique is that power is sent to all four wheels, making this the first mid-engine Ferrari with AWD, and it’s all managed by an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Price & Mileage
Both regular SF90 models offer plenty of features to make either car a solid choice, but we’d recommend going for the convertible Spider variant. The SF90 Stradale starts at $524,814, and if you opt for the Spider variant, the price goes up to $580,000. According to the EPA, the SF90 Stradale coupe is expected to provide around 18 miles per gallon combined when running on gasoline. When using both its gasoline engine and electric motors, it can achieve up to 51 MPGe.
Acceleration & Features
As expected, all that power under the hood results in rapid acceleration. Ferrari officially estimates that it will go from zero to 60 mph in a quick 2.5 seconds. However, real-world testing showed that this number is on the conservative side, as the SF90 accelerated to 60 in just 2.0 seconds, a feat never achieved by any production vehicle before. All SF90 models are equipped with a front-facing LCD monitor and a six-speaker sound system. The car also features standard tech elements like Bluetooth for phone calls and streaming audio, real-time traffic updates, and an integrated navigation system with voice activation. While you can enjoy Apple CarPlay integration, unfortunately, Android Auto isn’t included in the available amenities.
