Engine & Performance
In the SF90 XX, the power comes from a seriously strong V8 and three electric motors. The twin-turbo 4.0L V8 packs a punch with 769 hp on its own, and the trio of electric motors adds another 217 hp. Together, the gas/electric combo gives a total output of 986 hp and 593 lb-ft of torque. Opting for the SF90 XX cranks it up with an extra 30 hp. Making it a grand total of 1016 hp, and it comes with a cool feature called Extra Boost. This nifty addition temporarily boosts power to help you pick up speed when coming out of a corner. Power is sent to all four wheels, making this the first mid-engine Ferrari with AWD. All are managed by an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Price & Mileage
They’re only making 799 of the $890,000 Stradale coupes and 599 of the $995,000 Spider convertibles. Right now, there’s no word from the EPA on the SF90 XX, but it’s safe to say the mileage ratings might take a hit since the engine is even more powerful and thirstier now.
Acceleration & Features
Ferrari says the SF90 XX Stradale will go from zero to 60 mph in 2.3 seconds, but our tests make us believe it’ll hit 60 in just 1.9 seconds. All SF90 XX models come with a front-facing LCD monitor and a six-speaker sound system. The car is also loaded with standard tech features like Bluetooth for phone calls and audio streaming. Real-time traffic updates, and a built-in navigation system with a voice-activation feature. While you can enjoy Apple CarPlay integration, unfortunately, Android Auto isn’t part of the available features.

Both regular SF90 models offer plenty of features to make either car a solid choice, but we’d recommend going for the convertible Spider variant. The SF90 Stradale starts at $524,814, and if you opt for the Spider variant, the price goes up to $580,000. According to the EPA, the SF90 Stradale coupe is expected to provide around 18 miles per gallon combined when running on gasoline. When using both its gasoline engine and electric motors, it can achieve up to 51 MPGe.

As expected, all that power under the hood results in rapid acceleration. Ferrari officially estimates that it will go from zero to 60 mph in a quick 2.5 seconds. However, real-world testing showed that this number is on the conservative side, as the SF90 accelerated to 60 in just 2.0 seconds, a feat never achieved by any production vehicle before.
