Engine and Performance
The 2024 Jeep Gladiator’s powertrain options have narrowed down to one: the 3.6-liter V-6, delivering 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, coupled with a six-speed manual transmission as standard. An eight-speed automatic transmission is available as an alternative. The previously offered 3.0-liter diesel V-6 option is no longer available. However, there’s anticipation that the Gladiator will eventually receive Jeep’s 4xe plug-in-hybrid powertrain in the future, broadening its powertrain choices.
