Leaving early can help you arrive on time, but the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe takes style to a new level. While similar to the square-back GLC SUV, the two vehicles share their luxurious features, such as heated seats, wireless smartphone charging, a panoramic sunroof, and a great sound system. Equipped with a 255-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine that has an over-boost function, providing an additional 23 horsepower for brief periods, the GLC Coupe also comes with standard all-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission. The infotainment display dominates the interior, and the gauge cluster behind the thick steering wheel is only slightly smaller. The interior is plushly furnished and boasts enough LED ambient lighting to turn the cockpit into a Miami nightclub. Although the GLC Coupe’s style sacrifices cargo space compared to its more SUV-like counterpart, it unquestionably makes you look cooler when driving.

The 2024 GLC Coupe has received a complete overhaul, featuring an updated hybridized powertrain with a 48-volt system that provides more horsepower. The suspension has been improved to enhance the Coupe’s agility, while the panoramic sunroof has been enlarged for the new model year. The GLC Coupe’s interior is incredibly comfortable, with a combination of finely stitched leather and top-quality plastics surrounding a range of standard features like heated seats and a 710-watt Burmester 3D Surround system. The dashboard has been transformed, with most of the previously exposed area now covered in high-definition touchscreen displays. These displays use the latest MBUX infotainment software to configure even more aspects of the vehicle than before.
Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Engine, Power, Performance & Acceleration
A 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine powers every 2023 GLC Coupe. The powertrain, which is capable of 255 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque, is supplemented by a 48-volt hybrid system. Both all-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic gearbox are standard. Mercedes predicts the new GLC Coupe will reach 60 mph in 6.2 seconds, albeit we haven’t yet seen testing procedures. To assist keep all that bulk securely in place, the 2018 GLC Coupe also has upgraded suspension, including a new four-link front-axle system and a multi-link rear layout. After testing the new GLC Coupe, we’ll update this space with our driving observations.

The EPA hasn’t yet revealed fuel economy figures for the new GLC Coupe, but we anticipate seeing statistics that are comparable to those of the outgoing model and the main competitors of the Benz. 20 city mpg and 26 highway mpg were the ratings for the 2023 model.
Dimensions & Space
The GLC Coupe’s interior has a lot of room for entertainment and interactive features. A massive 11.9-inch touchscreen screen controls the heat and almost all other aspects of the car, but there is also wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Under the center console’s lid is a wireless phone charger. The GLC’s parking camera, which can swivel its vision to look for curbs or other impediments, is similarly centered on the infotainment display.

There are many basic conveniences in the GLC300. Each GLC offers a comfortable cabin, a variety of driver-assistance systems, LED headlights, and taillights. Mercedes-Benz has made the formerly optional AMG Line package standard equipment starting in 2024. That includes a Burmester 3D Surround system, heated seats, and wireless smartphone charging.
