Skoda has recently unveiled the fourth generation of its flagship sedan, the Superb. This new iteration promises to offer a slew of modern features and a minimalist cabin, while also providing multiple powertrain options. Set to be launched by Skoda in 2024, the Superb will compete globally with renowned models like India’s Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, and Volkswagen Arteon.
Sleek Design
The 2024 Skoda Superb offers a signature modern and solid design that enhances its overall sleek and elegant appearance. Notable exterior updates include a fresh front grille and updated LED headlights and DRLs, complemented by a new bumper. The vehicle will be available with alloy wheels ranging from 16 to 19 inches and distinctive C-shaped LED tail lamps at the rear.
Modern Features
Inside the 2024 Superb, substantial changes are evident which sets it apart from its predecessors. The dashboard showcases a minimalistic design, featuring vertical slats in the corner of the AC vent. Moreover, the vehicle is equipped with a spacious 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Passengers can enjoy year-round comfort with the inclusion of multi-zone climate control. The cabin offers a choice of four different colour themes and offers personalization to suit individual preferences.

The 2024 Skoda Superb offers a variety of powertrain options, including petrol, diesel, and hybrid. All engines are paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The base engine is a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine equipped with a 48V mild hybrid system, delivering 150 PS of power. Additionally, two 2.0-litre turbo petrol engines are available which makes 204 PS and 265 PS. For diesel options, two 2.0-litre turbo diesel engines are offered that produce 150 PS and 193 PS, respectively. The Superb also presents a plug-in hybrid variant with a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine and offers a range of over 100 km on a single charge.
Expected India Launch
The 2024 Skoda Superb is slated to launch in India in 2024. It will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU), subjecting it to high taxes. Consequently, the price of the new Superb is expected to be considerably higher than the third-generation Skoda Superb in India, with an estimated starting price of around Rs 40 lakhs ex-showroom.
