Cadillac has unveiled the 2025 Cadillac CT5 at the Detroit Auto Show, set to hit the market in spring 2024. The updated CT5 boasts a wider grille and intricate LED headlights in its redesigned front end. Inside, a commanding 33-inch screen takes center stage, offering a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot and integrated Amazon Alexa voice assistant. While Cadillac’s future primarily revolves around electric SUVs like the Lyriq and Escalade iQ, the CT5 receives this final update. It positioning itself as a sporty alternative to the brand’s historic luxury sedans, focusing on athleticism with models like the V-series while delivering a modern and high-tech driving experience.
2025 Cadillac CT5 Design
The 2025 CT5’s has a refreshed design featuring a merger of squinty horizontal headlights with vertical LED elements. These LED strips create a distinct triangular cutout in the bodywork are coupled with the main headlight housing. On CT5 Sport trims, showcases a blacked-out trim and grille adorned with black mesh. Two fresh colors, Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic.
Interior and Features
The 2025 Cadillac CT5’s interior addresses the prior flaws found in the old CTS model, offering a more user-friendly and intuitive control layout. Engine and Performance
The 2025 Cadillac CT5 retains its previous powertrain options. It starts with a base turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. For more power, there’s the option of a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 engine, producing 335 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. The performance-oriented CT5-V boasts a higher-output 360-hp version of the twin-turbo V-6, along with adaptive dampers and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. Both engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and the CT5 offers rear-wheel drive as standard, with all-wheel drive as an option. In testing, a rear-drive CT5 with the turbo four-cylinder accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds, while a rear-drive CT5-V did it in 4.8 seconds.
Pricing
