The Maruti Suzuki eVX will debut later this year, marking the brand’s foray into the electric vehicle market. Its Toyota counterpart to follow suit in early 2025. This midsize electric SUV will offer two battery options and be available in both front-wheel-drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) configurations. With a 60 kWh battery pack, the E-SUV will be able to achieve a range of approximately 550 km. The design of the Toyota electric SUV will be based on the Urban SUV concept unveiled earlier.

The electric version of the C3 Aircross midsize SUV is set to be introduced in late 2024 or early 2025 and will share many similarities with its ICE sibling. It will be based on the modified version of the CMP platform and could be offered in both five- and seven-seater layouts. Expect the driving range to exceed 450 km.
