Hyundai currently offers ADAS in five of its models. These systems encompass a range of safety features. It includes lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, driver attention monitoring, and rear cross-traffic assistance. By 2024, it’s estimated that up to 60% of all Hyundai cars sold in India could be equipped with these advanced safety features.

Notably, the Hyundai Venue became India’s most affordable SUV with ADAS. It marks a significant step in democratizing advanced safety technologies. The company’s ultimate goal is to achieve 100% coverage of ADAS features across its entire vehicle lineup.

Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai India, emphasized the importance of this move. He stated that “Hyundai is the first mass OEM to offer ADAS in a sub-4meter SUV, the Hyundai Venue. Thereby making it India’s most affordable SUV equipped with ADAS. This is a big leap towards the democratization of advanced safety features.”
