2023 Hyundai Aura Facelift Has Pretty Enhancements

Hyundai recently unveiled the facelifts of Aura and Grand i10 Nios. Bookings for the hatchback and compact sedan started on January 9 for Rs. 11,000 each. While Hyundai has confirmed the launch of the Grand i10 Nios for later this week, the Aura is also expected to be launched alongside. The Aura gets a new Starry Night shade, four airbags as standard, and no turbo-petrol engine as of now. Ahead of the launch, the official brochure of the Aura has surfaced online revealing key details. The Aura facelift is expected to be priced around Rs 6.5 lakh-Rs 9.5 lakhs. This will rival key competitors such as Tata Tigor, Honda Amaze petrol, as well as the Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

The Aura facelift gets a bunch of new features compared to the outgoing model. It now gets four airbags, ABS and EBD as standard. While six airbags, ESC, and hill hold assist are optional. Furthermore, rear head restraints are adjustable and it also gets footwell lighting in the front row. The redesigned instrument cluster now gets two analogue gauges for the speedometer; tachometer and gets a new, 3.5-inch MID with a TPMS. Hyundai has replaced the Vintage Brown color option with the Starry Night shade which is seen on the Verna, i20, Alcazar, and Tucson. The car continues to offer an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, automatic climate control, and a wireless charger.

Under the hood lies the same 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 83hp and 113.8Nm of torque. Whereas, the CNG kit fitted to this engine, generates 69hp and 95.2Nm of torque. While both are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the petrol also gets the option for an AMT gearbox.
