The 2022 Acura RDX, as cool as the name sounds, this car could be a perfect SUV for those who don’t want a full size SUV but are seeking for a premium compact size SUV with a great drive and don’t wanted to spend as much as the Mercedes Benz GLC Class or the Porsche Macan. It packed a turbocharged four cylinder engine. Paired with a 10 speed automatic transmission which does the job but could get you infuriating with it’s slow downshifts and turbolags, apart from that the new RDX is spacious, it’s practical and will cater mostly all of your needs you expect from a SUV.
What’s New For 2022 ?
The new 2022 RDX has been slightly facelifted with some tweaks to the grill with larger air intakes on the front and an improved rear bumper with new rectangular exhaust tips. The car has got new colours with improved interior with Amazon Alexa integrated and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. The new RDX will also come with a new limited production PMC edition with a new Pearl Blue colour scheme.

Engine, Top Speed, 0-60MPH & Performance
The 2022 RDX will be powered by a 2.0 Litre turbocharged four cylinder engine which makes 272 horsepower paired with a ten speed automatic transmission. With a front wheel drive system with an optional all wheel drive package. The car can go from 0 to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds and can reach upto the maximum speeds of 113 mph. The performance of the 2022 RDX won’t be a surprise as we’ve seen similar cars from the brand. The car offers a smooth ride with a precise steering and decent gear shifts and a great response. It’s also got a similar high pitched roar, the sound signature similar to that of the flagship NSX.

The new 2022 Acura RDX with the front wheel drive system gives a good fuel economy. With a mileage of 22 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highways with 1 mpg less in the all wheel drive system.

The 2022 Acura has got the dimensions where it’s 187 inches long, 75 inches wide and 66 inches tall and has a wheelbase of 108 inches and weighs around 1844 kgs.

The New 2022 Acura RDX will be priced at $40,000 USD for the base model with Front Wheel Drive.
