Overview
The Aston Martin DB 11 is undeniably one of the most stunning looking cars that comes from the automaker. And just in time you’re gonna be knowing all about the 2022 instalment of this model from Aston Martin. And this 2022 Aston Martin DB11 just appends the line between being a sports car and a grand tourer. Its long (with dimensions over 186.6 inches) low, and wide body (with 76.8 inches and 50.8 inches) all that one could need from a high end Aston Martin sports car.
Aston Martin will offer this one with rear wheel drive only and packs a 5.2 Litre twin-turbocharged V12 which would deliver a power output of 650 hp and a torque of 700 Nm which is only reserved for the coupe variant only, well DB11 will also comes in a 4.0 litres twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, both engines provide a rousing acceleration with a stirring sound that can take this car from 0-60 MPH in under 3 seconds. And despite some interior miscues and miniscule rear seats that it comes with, the new DB11 has a more comfortable and a customizable cabin to offer.
What’s New for 2022?
For the 2022, the new DB11’s standard V-8 gets a 25-hp boost, pushing its total output to 528 hp and this new upgrade will unlock a new claimed top speed of 192 mph, a significant upgrade from 187 mph. Inside, the new DB11 will be available with Aston’s Sports Plus seats, which will help to better hatch on the passengers while a spirinted motoring. The buyers can further tweak the cabin of their DB11 with an optional design themes package. While the 2+2 seater option will still come with the V12 variant, which will no longer have an AMR (Aston Martin Racing) badge.
But We think that the convertible model, called the Volante, is the best DB11 one can experience, but unfortunately that version will still be sold with the V8 variant only, this comes as a disappointment if one wanted to add some character to their car with the V12 model.

After selecting our preferred exterior colour, exterior trimmings, interior preferences, we’d add the Bang & Olufsen audio system and touchpad control for the infotainment system. The only other extras we’d recommend are the heated steering wheel and blind-spot monitoring.
Engine, performance, Top Speed & 0-60 MPH
The new 2022 DB11 comes with two engine variants: a 4.0 Litre twin-turbocharged V-8 or a 5.2 Litre twin-turbocharged V-12 developing 528 hp and 513 lb-ft of torque and 650 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. Both are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission producing and giving all that torque to the rear wheels and transmits all that torque to the rear wheels.
Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG
With a powerful V8 and V12 engine options one would really not worry about the fuel
economy of their car. But still, the V8 gives a decent 18 mpg in city and 24 mpg on highway and the V12 has less than 15 mpg in city and 22 on highways but a very good if compared with it’s competition, the W12 Bentley Continental GT which gives 12 mpg in city and 20 mpg on highway. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
Well apart from the good engine and performance specs and the fuel economy, the inside of every DB11 is plushed with luxury with customisable fanciful colours and exotic materials for its interiors making this car an extravagant and heart-pounding experience of driving. Every model comes with a leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, with a passive entry and a heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats are also on offer as an option. And apart from that the new DB11 doesn’t have any great place to place items other than its centre-console bin.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Like the much long efforts with the Mercedes Benz, this DB11’s infotainment system provides a good user-friendly controls with attractive menus to easily make the driver reach where they wanted to, with a 8 inch touch screen with a standard rotary controller (also comes an optional touchpad on the central console) which is one of the best thing to have to just ease a lot of clicks and touches. It also comes with a 400 watt audio system with a SiriusXM satellite radio, with a Wi-Fi hotspot that the company delivers with every car, but people could upgrade to a much higher 700 watt or a mind boggling 1000 watt Bang & Olufsen Unit. That is well an optional package which does cost money.
Safety and Driver-Assistance Features
Those who are interested in the driver-assistance, well to top it off the new DB11 comes with a blind-spot monitoring system and a parking-assistance software.
