Currently, the Ather 450X attains a maximum velocity of 90 kmph, achieving the 0 to 40 kmph sprint in a mere 3.3 seconds. This 450 Apex packs a 6.4 kW electric motor capable of generating a formidable 26 Nm of peak torque. It will feature a 3.7 kWh battery pack and a claimed range of 150 km, leaving us curious about the Apex’s potential.
Anticipated to establish new standards in performance, the impending Ather 450 Apex pledges swifter acceleration and an elevated top speed. It will introduce four distinctive ride modes: Eco, Ride, Sport, and Warp+. The Warp+ mode might prove the most extravagant, extracting optimum performance from the electric scooter.
Tarun Mehta, Ather Energy’s co-founder & CEO previously affirmed the development of an entirely new scooter. It is set to make its debut next year in January. In stark contrast to the performance-focused 450 Apex, this family-centric scooter will flaunt a pragmatic design, providing heightened spaciousness with a generously proportioned floorboard.
Positioned to rival contenders like the Ola S1X, TVS iQube, and Bajaj Chetak, it will likely boast a competitive pricing range with an encompassing overall range, catering to a broad spectrum of consumers upon its unveiling.
