Overview
The new 2023 BMW iX shows that the company’s electrified future is just around the corner. This new iX is based on the company’s popular X5 SUV in terms of size and space but with the latest sitting edge design with sharp and bold looking exterior. It will come in two powertrain options fitted with two electric motors which makes 516 hp for the base model and 610 hp for the top spec M60 variant with a lithium ion battery which has a range of more than 300 miles in a single charge. Topped by its spacious cabin fitted with every bits of luxury and rich materials in the interior with the brand’s latest tech inside and deliver a driving thrill just like the other cars from the company while rivalling the cars such as Fisker Ocean, Audi E-Tron, Rivian R1 S and Tesla Model X.

What’s New For 2023 ?
The BMW iX is an all new and all electric lineup for the year, and for 2023 the new M60 model with all electric powertrain which makes 610 hp and delivers a range of 280 miles joins the lineup.
Engine, Top Speed, 0-60mph & Performance
Just like the tradition, the new 2023 iX also comes with two variants. The base xDrive50 variant which is powered by dual motors, and makes 516 hp and can go from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds and the top spec M60 model which makes a good 610 hp and can go from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph. Both variants are equipped with all wheel drive and rear wheel steering standard on the top spec M60 and optional for the xDrive50, the top spec variant also comes with an adaptive air suspension to match the extra level of comfortness. Both variants offer a smooth and effortless driving experience like the brand’s is known for with plenty of power to throw on the wheels with an agile handling and a great energy efficiency.
Battery Range, Charging & Battery Life
The new BMW iX comes with a large 106.3 kWh battery, which the brand claims to offer a range of 300 Miles on the base variant and 280 miles with the top spec M60 model. And both models are capable of DC fast charging capabilities with 10 to 80% in just 35 mins with a 200 KW charger.

Price
While the company hasn’t announced any details about the pricing of the new BMW iX, we think that the new iX will come at an estimated price of $85,000 for the base variant.
