For the 2022 lineup, BMW adds a new limited production Competition Sport (CS) model which adds a specially tuned chassis and an upgraded V8 which will now make a peak 627 horses. It is also 230 pounds lighter than the regular M5 Competition accompanied by a carbon fibre front seats with the two rear seats with new 20 inch bronze painted wheels with Pirelli P Zero Corsa performance tires which makes this BMW M5 CS the quickest and most powerful production car in company’s history.

The new 2022 mighty BMW M5 Competition is powered by a 4.4 Litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine which makes a hefty 600 horsepower and can be boosted upto 17 more horses with 553 lb ft of torque. While the M5 Competition Sport with a reworked V8 and a specially tuned chassis makes an insane 627 horsepower. Paired with an eight speed automatic transmission with all wheel drive system and rear drive mode.
And can blast itself from 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds making this brutally quick car the quickest production in the BMW’s history and has a top speed of 155 mph. Both M5 delivers a delightful performance with going from pleasing to powerful in just seconds, they offer a great super sporty feel with a great cornering grip with 100% of its torque going straight from its core to the wheels. While the current M5 Competition achieves decent fuel economy figures with a mileage of 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway. The much more powerful M5 Competition Sport will deliver an estimated mileage of 17 mpg combined.
