Measuring 4,800mm long, 1,875mm wide, and 1,460mm tall, the Seal boasts a coupe-like roofline and a spacious cabin. Visually, the Seal stands out with unique design elements such as flush-fitting door handles, boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights, and a full-width LED light bar at the rear. The Seal’s cabin features a driver-centric layout with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a large, 15.6-inch rotating infotainment touchscreen. The interior design echoes the Atto 3’s “Dragon Face” theme, featuring flowing lines, premium materials, and a crystal toggle drive selector. Customers seeking extended range or exhilarating performance can opt for variants equipped with the larger 82.56kWh battery. The RWD version produces 312hp and 360Nm, translating to a claimed range of 650km – an impressive figure for an electric sedan.

The AWD variant dubbed the Performance, boasts a dual-motor setup generating a combined output of 530hp and a staggering 670Nm of torque. This potent combination propels the Seal from 0-100kph in a mere 3.8 seconds, cementing its position as a performance-oriented electric sedan.

Charging Convenience and Practicality:

The Seal supports DC fast charging at speeds of up to 150kW, allowing a 10-80% charge in just 37 minutes. For slower AC charging, a regular 11kW charger can replenish the battery from 0-100% in approximately 8.6 hours. Additionally, the Seal offers Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, enabling users to power appliances and equipment for outdoor activities or emergencies.

BYD offers an industry-leading 8-year/1,60,000km warranty on the battery and an 8-year/1,50,000km warranty on the motor and motor controller unit, providing peace of mind to customers.
