Cadillac’s Luxury EV Lyriq pricing starts at $62,990. Starting to order from May 19th, the mid-sized SUV offering from Cadillac will soon be delivered to your hands starting this fall. Also, the sale of Special 2023 Debut Edition Lyriqs is still undisclosed which are being built now in Spring Hill, Tenn as well as Shanghai. The debut edition sold out in just 10-minute window, said Rory Harvey, Global Cadillac Vice President.

The difference between the regular version and the debut edition is just the price. The ones who reserved their Lyriq first got it at a bargain price of $59,990. The debut price was made attractive as this is Cadillac’s first EV, plan was to modify the price for the vehicle lineup going forward. Starting this fall, Cadillac will only start to deliver the single motor in the rear, with an EPA-estimated range of 312 miles on a single charge with 340 hp and 440.64 Nm of torque. The color choices include the original Satin Steel Metallic and Stellar Black Metallic for the Debut Editions and with additional Opulent Blue Metallic and Crystal White Tricoat.

For dual motors and AWD systems, one must wait until early 2023 for delivery. Those would still be 2023 models, with a starting price of $64,990. Horsepower is 500 but torque and range have not yet been released, with a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. The hardware for Super Cruise will be installed in early builds of Lyriq but it will not be active until an OTA update hits at the end of the year. Customers facing the delay will be offered 100,000 GM Reward points or a further year of free charging as a thank you for being an early bird. All future new Cadillacs will have the enhanced Super Cruise known as Ultra Cruise.

Cadillac will provide customers with $1,500 for the installation of a Level 2 fast charger or 240-volt outlet at their home, by Qmerit. The Lyriq comes with a portable dual-level cordset charger which works with 120- and 240-volt outlets. For people who don’t want to take advantage of this offer, they can choose two years of unlimited public charging credits at EVgo charging stations. The Lyriq is the first EV for the Cadillac which will have an all-electric portfolio by 2030.
