Khalid has an inspiring fleet of cars, and he seems to be adding more to his collection every so often, and the best part about being a celebrity is that they can afford all the most expensive things in life: mansions, cars, and so forth. That said, there’s something exceptional about Khalid’s taste in cars.
Aside from his music, Khalid has a soft spot for four wheels and powertrains, luxury, and everything else in-between. Plus, his love for cars dates back to his younger self. In an interview with BMW, the singer opened up about how he grew up with a fondness for BMW cars, and that his first car was a BMW 4 Series Convertible. 1. BMW M6 Gran Coupe
Let’s start off the list with the M6 Gran Coupe from Khalid’s favorite car brand. Worth $150,000, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe’s design and powertrain pay tribute to the first generation of the M6. At the front, the coupe has an eye-catching M kidney grille that has a bulging “M6” badge in the center. Khalid’s BMW M6 Gran Coupe is equipped with a twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. This either combines with the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic or 6-speed manual transmission. The M6 Gran Coupe can go from 0 to 62 mph in about 4.2 seconds. While it comes with a top speed of 155 mph, a few extra bucks for the M-driver’s package can fetch you 35 mph more.
2. Lamborghini Urus
The Lamborghini Urus is among the best luxury SUVs right now. Regular Lamborghinis are famous for their leather-padded seats, aerodynamic exterior design, an engine that makes a lot of ponies, and a rigid drivetrain. On the Urus, you get all of this plus more cabin and cargo space, with other complements. Khalid customized his Lamborghini Urus with a wide-body kit from 1016 Industries. As such, the SUV’s appearance features sharpened lines, new spoilers, and extended edges on the front and rear end. Power-wise, the Lamborghini Urus packs a twin-turbo V8 engine that makes 650 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. The Urus can accelerate to 60 mph in only 3.6 seconds, and it has a top speed of 189 mph, making it one of the world’s fastest SUVs behind the upcoming Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, and the highest-selling Lamborghini of all time.
3. Porsche GT3 RS
Khalid owns a green 2019 Porsche GT3 RS that oozes a flaunting vibe more than anything else. Worth up to $200,000, the two-seater has an amazing exterior design, which is complemented by a huge rear wing and giant air intakes to support its aerodynamic specs. It also has large alloy wheels that are built to withstand any rolling resistance, which is part of the reason why the Porsche has an excellent performance. Every Porsche GT3 comes with an articulated 4.0-liter flat-six engine that churns between 500 and 520 horsepower. This engine pairs with either the standard seven-speed dual-clutch automatic or optional six-speed manual transmission. Inside, the Porsche GT3 RS has a minimalistic dashboard and leather-padded seats to give occupants a luxury experience. The features and spectacular drivetrain puts the Porsche GT3 RS at par with the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.
4. Ferrari F8 Tributo
The Ferrari F8 Tributo is Khalid’s most popular car, especially since it’s the first F8 Tributo to wear 1016 industries’ body kit in America. Khalid’s Ferrari F8 comes with has a purpose-built aerodynamic exterior design, custom gold wheels, new lip, side skirts, trunk spoiler, and front bumper vents, just to name a few. Like any Ferrari, the Ferrari F8 Tributo comes with power stats that match its good looks. For the F8, that’s a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that was handed down from the 488 Pista special edition. The engine delivers a staggering output of 710 hp at 8,000 rpm and 568 lb-ft of torque at 3,250 RPM. The middle-mounted engine combines with a 7-speed automatic transmission to drive the rear wheels.
5. Chevrolet G10 Vintage Custom Van
Khalid car collection list would not be complete without the Chevrolet G10 Vintage Van. With the custom work, Khalid spiced up this special G10 vintage van into a luxury super van. On the outside, the van maintains its legacy appearance, which is underlined by the shiny turquoise color. Stepping on the inside of this Chevy G10 van is like stepping into a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van. Its entire interior is padded in a light brown high-quality leather and custom paint, which the star described as looking like “peanut butter”. Khalid spent around $50,000 for all the custom work.
