The 2022 Dodge Charger. A beefier V8 powered muscle which takes the old classic’s journey ahead. With it’s stylish looks and a powerful engine inside with a package under $40,000 price tag. It packs a 370 hp 5.7 Litre V8 as the base variant also a more powerful 485 hp 6.4 Litre V8 and going upto the baddest SRT Hellcat variant which makes more than a ginormous 700 hp of power.
But the non SRT models also offer a great power output and a sporty response at a great price but with the compromises of an average interior and a decent ride quality where the Challenger, a car with the similar price tag would make you enjoy that. But not everybody would buy a Charger for the sake of power, many would buy it for the sake of that nostalgic fun and that old vibe.

What’s New For 2022 ?
For the 2022, just like every Dodge offering, the new Charger will also pack the same Convenience Group Package which will include a deluxe security alarm which will not come at standard with the Scat Pack models. And apart from this, the new Charger won’t come with much significant changes for this year.
Engine, Top Speed, 0-60 mph & Performance
The new Charger comes onboard with it’s mighty V8 engine but the base variant comes with a 5.7 Litre which makes 370 hp and the R/T Scat Pack comes with a 6.4 Litre Hemi which makes 485 hp paired with an eight speed automatic transmission powering it’s rear wheel drive. A manual transmission would have been much appreciated but it is topped off with an all wheel drive which provides a lot more grip and stability to the car.
It’s crazy quick with a 0-60 mph time in 3.8 seconds and can achieve a top speed of up to 176 mph with the R/T Scat. While the 370 hp V8 is impressive with it’s roaring noise, the more powerful 6.4L V8 which makes 485 hp can outrun your usual sedan like a champ with a relaxed and much more comfortable driving with great cornering grip which can amplify your fun even more. But with the con of having not so athletic feel and average interior and decent ride quality which could send off some people. But of all that counts, the new Dodge Charger does really well at a great price.
Fuel Economy | Mileage
With a hefty V8 inside the new Charger is quite fuel thirsty but gives out a really great fuel economy with delivering a mileage of 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway with the rear wheel drive and which decreases by 1-3 mpg with the all wheel drive.
