Hyundai will Launch 4 SUVs, and there is no doubt that the top-selling automaker’s vehicles are SUVs rather than sedans. With Creta and Venue selling the most, customers want new upgrades and looks for them.

The company is looking forward to reclaiming lost market share with these new 4 SUVs.

1. Hyundai Venue Facelift

Hyundai Venue is one of India’s most popular and highest-selling compact SUVs. The new Venue will have a parametric grille, integrated LED DRLs, fog lamps, and projector headlights along with the bumper, sporty bumper, skid plate, stylish alloy wheels, tall stance, decent use of chrome throughout the hull.

The engines offered will be 1.2L petrol with 82 hp and 113 Nm of torque, a 1.5L diesel with 100 hp and 240 Nm of torque, and a newer 1.0L turbo petrol with 120 Hp and 171 Nm of peak power and torque. Also, a Venue N-Line might make its way to Indian shores with an N-Line badge on the front grille, along with red accents all over the body and in brake callipers too.

2. Hyundai Creta Facelift

Hyundai has already launched the new Creta facelift in South East Asian markets. This new model is likely to arrive in Indian markets before the end of this year, most probably around the festive Diwali season. The new model will have a significantly redesigned exterior along with additional new features. The front fascia will have a new “Parametric Jewel” grille with integrated LED DRLs.

The Indian model will get more advanced features such as six airbags, ESC (electronic stability control) as standard. Also, it will get a new information cluster and a 360-degree camera. The vehicle is also likely to get ADAS with features like blind-spot monitoring, lane assist, adaptive cruise control & automatic emergency braking. With transmission options likely to be similar to the current one, the engine options are 113bhp 1.5L petrol, 113bhp 1.5L turbo-diesel and 138bhp 1.4L turbocharged petrol

3. New Hyundai Tucson

The new Tucson is likely to launch in the second half of 2022. This will rival the likes of VW Tiguan, Citroen C5 Aircross & Jeep Compass. According to some reports, Hyundai will also launch a longer wheelbase version of the SUV. The longer wheelbase model will have an 80mm longer wheelbase and a 7 seater layout. The engine would be the same as the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engine that powers the current model.

4. NEW HYUNDAI KONA EV FACELIFT

Hyundai will come up with a facelifted Kona EV in 2022. Already being sold in international markets, the new model has received a plethora of cosmetic and feature updates. The chassis is upgraded with new headlamps, revised bumpers, wheel arches with body colour finish, new alloys & less body cladding. Also, it comes equipped with a new 10.25-inch digital instrument console, a 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless connectivity, updated BlueLink connected car tech, blindspot assistance, safe exit warning and more.

The engine would be a 39.2kWh battery and 136bhp electric motor with a larger battery pack.
