10. 1972 Ferrari Daytona 365GTB/4
Starting with the Ferrari Daytona in the singer Elton John Car Collection. A Special model as a right hand drive input, very specific need for the British countries, John Elton very luckily grabbed one of 158 only out in the world. The 2-seat grand tourer had a front-mounted 4.4-liter V12 engine with enough power for a 170mph top speed. Sadly John merely drove it for 3 years and had a let-go of this sweet beauty.
9. 1955 Bentley S1 Continental Sport Saloon
In Elton’s view, no other car is on top of this set of wheel, be it either looks or comfort, for him this was the one who could do it all. He loved it so much that he didn’t turned it off for nearly 20 long years. In every up and down, he was merrily through everything in this.
8. 1997 Aston Martin V8 Vantage V550
Looking no less than a James Bond car, sleek yet powerful, though only produced for a shot span of 1993-2000, it can still pull off a 0-60mph in just over 4 seconds before powering on to a top speed of 186mph. Thanks to its Powerful 5.3 Liter v8, doing a 1:1 of horsepower and torque, both being 550, not every car can be this perfect.
7. 1963 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III
The Silver Cloud III, produced between 1963 and 1966, was the final version of the Silver Cloud series yet seemingly powerful. the v8 of this was down for a 120mph anytime you want to do that, tops in that era. No Wonder John Elton was very passionate for the British rides.
6. 1987 Bentley Turbo R Saloon
This may be a true definition for a saloon, but also its unlikely that its not fast. The name itself has a turbo in it. You count that for a 300 HP. It needed just over 6 seconds to sprint to 60mph and could keep going until it peaked at 135mph. A lot in that period. And not to forget the name, Bentley, this had all the luxury for the standards.
5. 1993 Jaguar XJ220
Just a blink and vanishes. The 1993 Jaguar XJ220 was, just for a mere period, was the fastest production car, believe or not, this one had a gut to reach up to 200 MPH in its era. Apart from John Elton, only handful of people had acquired it as for only for 1992-1994, this one made around 300 units for the special ones.
4. 1965 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Roadster
For an automaker, the biggest moment would most likely be to be complimented by another luxury automaker. That’s Exactly What happened to Jaguar from Enzo Ferrari, the Founder of Ferrari when he saw this machine. Not only being said beautiful, The sleek lines of the car greatly enhanced the car’s aerodynamics, helping it reach a top speed of 150mph after flashing past the 60mph mark in less than 7 seconds. This is where Elton knew he made the correct decision.
3. 1987 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante
There were only 192 units of this car built from 1987 to 1989. Once became a very fortune-costing convertible to the market. But John decided to grab the optional X-Pack, for that extra punch of 160 Horsepower over the regular, 432 overall. John must have really sipped all the juice out of it.
2. 1992 Ferrari 512TR
John didn’t had it much, though this one was undoubtedly a very fun to ride, consisting a v12 and a similar look-set of its predecessor Ferrari Testarossa, he goodbye-ed this ride. The one who got this must be on the Cloud 9.
1. 1973 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI Limousine
Rolls-Royce Phantoms were the exclusive preserve of the wealthy individuals in society. The 1973 Phantom VI had a 6.7-liter V8 powerplant under the elongated hood; features like power steering and hydraulic brakes came as standard to improve overall handling. The one owned by Sir Elton John had some unique touches by the well-known coachwork builder, H.J Milliner.
