Overview
For 2023, Kia updated Niro’s design language which looks upmarket. Kia hasn’t revealed its powertrain but we’ll expect that it has hybrid and plug-in hybrid option and expected electric only driving range of 25 to 30 miles. It has a ‘Greenzone’ driving mode which automatically switch to electric mode when driving in near hospitals or schools by using navigation’s date.
What’s new For 2023?
The all new Niro will arrive at the dealerships by the end of 2022 and its design is completely updated and inspired by the HabaNiro concept from 2019.

It likely to comes with 10.3-inch infotainment system with UVO software, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integrity and wireless charging.
Engine, Top Speed, 0-60 mph & Performance
The 2023 Kia Niro will be powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine assisted by an electric motor to generate 139 HP and mated to 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and with only front-wheel drivetrain just like the current 2022 model. Kia hasn’t revealed its plug-in hybrid powertrain yet but we’ll update the date when it becomes available from the Kia. Kia Niro can go from 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds and have a est. top speed of 130 mph.
As Kia hasn’t announced any statement regarding driver assist safety features, exact range and battery capacity but we’ll update it later for sure.
