During its magnificent Independence Day celebration in South Africa, Mahindra unveiled the Mahindra Global Pik Up. This name is similar to Mahindra’s current Scorpio Classic-based pickup truck. The design is now being developed into a production pickup (codenamed Z121), with a ‘next-generation ladder-frame’ foundation intended to meet both Global NCAP and Euro NCAP safety requirements.

Inside, cutting-edge features await, including Level-2 ADAS, semi-automatic parking, 5G-based connectivity, and a coveted sunroof. The upcoming Mahindra Pik Up is likely to come with a Gen-II all-aluminium mHawk diesel engine. Paired with a 6-speed manual or Aisin-sourced 6-speed automatic transmission, this powerhouse promises dynamic driving experiences. Embracing its diverse markets, the Global Pik Up offers 4WD with shift-on-the-fly convenience and four distinct drive modes: Normal, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Rut, and Sand.
