It seems that India’s largest carmaker is planning new SUVs for the Indian markets to dominate the SUV sector. Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch over 5 new SUVs in India in the coming months. The company plans to diversify and grow its large cars lineup to dominate the sector with a substantial grip. The strategy is in place as the company’s next-gen Vitara Brezza was the best-selling SUV in the country. More SUVs from the brand means more customer base and more growth. 5. Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG
Maruti Suzuki’s best-selling SUV, the Brezza came with minor upgrades a few months ago for the 2022 year. We expect the car’s 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid system to get a CNG variant. The Brezaa came with an exterior and interior refresh with more features and technology inside. So, a future CNG variant is likely underway to boost the brand’s sales.
4. Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara:
Maruti Suzuki revealed their new 2022 Grand Vitara a few weeks ago for the next generation Brezza lineup. The car is built on the new Global C platform and will offer a mild and strong hybrid powertrain setup. Although the car shares its similarity with Toyota Urban Cruise Hyryder, Suzuki’s aggressive pricing will make the difference. The Grand Vitara has already crossed 40 thousand pre-bookings so we can expect it is a hit.
3. Maruti Suzuki YTB
First revealed at the 2022 Auto Expo, the Japanese automaker will make the YTB-based coupe-styled SUV. We expect the Suzuki YTB SUV to make its debut at the 2023 Auto Expo. The SUV will share its powertrain and mechanical parts with the Suzuki Baleno and offer improved performance.
2. Maruti Suzuki Vitara XL:
Maruti Suzuki is also planning for the Grand Vitara XL with its 7-seater design to extend the Grand Vitara lineup. We expect the Vitara XL to pack a similar engine tuned to churn out the power of the 7-seater car. It will compete with the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, and Hyundai Alcazar in its 7-seater segment.

The much-awaited Suzuki Jimny 5-door with its rugged design and proper 4×4 experience with its off-roading capabilities. The Jimny 5-door is expected to reveal at the 2023 Auto Expo with its new design and great performance.
