Overview
The new Mercedes-Benz all-electric EQA is completely based on subcompact SUV GLA-class. The electric motor embedded under the hood generating 188 HP for front-wheel drive variants and 268 HP for all-wheel drive variants. Mercedes all set to launch EQA in U.S. in 2022 by looking at the American appetite for luxury SUVs.
What’s New For 2022 ?
The 2022 EQA will be the all-new model for the Mercedes-Benz and brand hasn’t announced any statement regarding its offerings.

Pricing & features
Mercedes hasn’t declared EQA’s pricing but by looking at the larger EQC the pricing for EQA will be as $57,000 USD (Progressive), $62,000 USD (Premium) and $67,000 USD (Advanced).
It could get features like infotainment screen with MBUX software, stability control system, forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking are standard, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
Dimensions
The Mercedes-Benz EQA is 4463mm long, 1834mm wide and has 1620mm of height with 2729mm long wheelbase.
Engine, Top Speed, 0-60mph & Performance
The Mercedes-Benz EQA250 is powered by single motor producing 188 Horsepower of power and transfers to the front wheels. The all-wheel drive variant generates 268 Horsepower of power. The 188 HP variant does 0 to 62 mph in 8.9 seconds and has electronically controlled top speed of 99 mph which is not exciting. Under 60 mph speed it feels underpowered.
Battery & Range | Mileage
The Mercedes-Benz EQA uses a 66.5 kWh battery which delivers driving range between 200 to 250 miles. The EQA will compete against core rivals such as Tesla Model Y SUV and Model 3 Sedan.
