The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB-class offers most of the techy features of bigger Benz SUVs like the coupe like GLA-class. The GLB-class has the same platform and chassis setup like the GLA-class with the same turbocharged four-cylinder engine and all-wheel drive system as an option. But GLB-class offers more boot space and spacious interior due to boxy design.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB-class priced at $39,650 while the all-wheel drive 4Matic variant starts from $41,650.

The features offered are heated seats, blind-spot monitoring, auto-dimming rear view mirror, power-folding side-view mirrors, keyless entry, 10.3-inch dual displays with MBUX software, dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery and ambient lighting. It got 5-star safety rating from NHTSA. Some of the safety features include active brake assist, adaptive braking, automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection as a standard, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist and adaptive cruise control.

The GLB-class measures 4634mm long, 1834mm wide and has 1658mm of height with 2829mm long wheelbase.

Engine, Top Speed, 0-60mph & Performance

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB-class is powered by 2.0-litre four cylinder turbocharged engine producing 221 Horsepower and mated to 8-speed dual-clutch transmission with either front wheel or all-wheel drivetrain. The all-wheel drive variant manages to sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in 6 seconds and can go up to the Top Speed of 120mph. Its ride handling is not that much sporty but its ride quality is just above the perfect.

Fuel Economy | Mileage

According to EPA the Mercedes GLB-Class 2022 gives mileage as, front-wheel drive variant delivers 23 mpg in city while 31 mpg on highway and combined 26 mpg. Its efficiency rating is little bit lower than the core rival BMW X1.
