Porsche Taycan Turbo S is Porsche’s all-electric sedan and it is a range-topping variant of the Porsche Taycan. It got launched in 2019 and already has become Porsche’s one of its best-selling cars. It all started back in 2015 when Porsche revealed the concept version of the Porsche Taycan named the Porsche Mission E at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Taycan is derived from the Turkish word tay + can which translates as “lively young horse”. Its price starts at $185,000 for the Taycan Sedan and $185,600 for the Cross Turismo. It can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 2.4 seconds and its top speed stop at a speed of 162 miles per hour. Taycan Turbo S is more tracked-focused even though Porsche does not intend to make it that way. You will get all the confidence while driving this electric beast. Its major electric rival Tesla Model S Plaid is quicker on paper but Taycan Turbo S is more confident to drive and sticks to the road. It is specially built to prioritize performance over range and efficiency.
