Cars of Blackstone CEO Stephen A. Schwarzman
Stephen A Schwarzman, born on February 14, 1947, is a wealthy American businessman. He leads the Blackstone Group, a major global investment company he co-founded with Peter G. Peterson in 1985. Schwarzman briefly chaired President Donald Trump’s Strategic and Policy Forum. He grew up in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, in a Jewish household, with his parents Arline and Joseph Schwarzman. His father owned a store called Schwarzman’s in Philadelphia and had graduated from the Wharton School. Stephen attended Abington Senior High School and later Yale University, where he was part of the Skull and Bones Society and initiated the Davenport Ballet Society. After graduating in 1969, he briefly served in the U.S. Army Reserve before attending Harvard Business School, where he completed his studies in 1972. We can guess he might like cars that many CEOs usually choose.

Land Rover Range Rover
The Range Rover has been a favourite among celebrities and wealthy folks for a long time. It offers luxurious features like high-end cars but performs well off-road, away from fancy events. Every model comes with an AWD, an adjustable air suspension, and plenty of space from the ground. You can choose from different types of engines, like a six-cylinder, plug-in hybrid, or V8. Plus, you can customize your Range Rover with fancy extras like massaging seats, reclining rear seats, fold-out trays, and a built-in cooler. But no matter which version you pick, it comes with a high price. It’s pricier than the starting models of similar SUVs like the Cadillac Escalade, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, or Mercedes-Benz GLS-class.
Cadillac Escalade
The Cadillac Escalade is known for being the top model from the brand, with its large size and bold design representing classic American luxury. Even though it shares parts with other SUVs like the Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon, the Escalade holds its own against other big luxury SUVs like the Lincoln Navigator and Mercedes-Benz GLS-class because it comes with Cadillac’s fanciest technology and most luxurious features. Inside, you’ll find high-quality materials like wood, leather, and metal. There’s a large curved screen on the dashboard that displays information and controls for the car. It also includes helpful features like cruise control that can drive the car by itself in certain situations. You can choose between a powerful gasoline 6.2L V8 engine or a diesel-powered inline 6.
Chevrolet Tahoe
The Chevrolet Tahoe provides plenty of space for passengers and cargo, making it a roomy option. Surprisingly, it feels quite agile on the road compared to other large SUVs. You have three engine options to choose from, each offering decent towing capacity. The base model comes with a 355-hp V8 engine, but you can upgrade to a more powerful 420-hp V8 if you prefer. There’s also a new diesel inline-six option available now, which is a new addition compared to previous Tahoe models. All models come with three rows of seating, and even the basic LS trim includes popular infotainment and driver-assistance features. If you enjoy off-road driving, the Z71 model is the best choice, offering a two-speed transfer case, adjustable air suspension, and rugged all-terrain tyres.
Chevrolet Suburban
Now in its 12th generation, this large full-size SUV still offers three rows of seating for up to eight passengers and plenty of towing capacity. It comes standard with a 355-hp V8 engine, but you can also choose an optional 277-hp inline-six turbodiesel or a 420-hp V8. All engines are paired with a smooth 10-speed automatic transmission and can be equipped with either RWD or 4WD, except for the off-road-focused Z71 trim, which is 4WD only. The Suburban has a huge cargo space, even larger than the Jeep Wagoneer when the third row is folded. An available air suspension ensures a comfortable ride over bumps in the road. While the interior design and materials may not be very exciting, the 10.2-inch touchscreen works well for controlling climate and navigation functions quickly and clearly.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class
The Mercedes-Benz S-class is the top-of-the-line luxury sedan that sets the standard for others to follow. It caters to the preferences of its wealthy customers with top-notch materials, luxurious comfort, and advanced technology. It’s available in three models. The S500, S580, and S580e, each with its own unique powertrain and AWD. The S500 comes with a smooth turbocharged straight-six engine producing 429 hp, while the S580 boasts a powerful 496-hp V8. The plug-in hybrid S580e offers 510 hp and can travel around 58 miles on electric power alone. The S-class prioritizes comfort and luxury, as seen in its plush leather seats and standard air suspension for a smooth ride. With the optional E-Active Body Control, the car even leans into corners to keep your drink stable while you relax in the power-adjustable, reclining rear seats with a heated massage function.
BMW 7-Series
The newest version of the BMW 7-series, the company’s top sedan, has been released for the 2023 model year. While it maintains the essence of its previous model, there are some improvements. You have a choice between a turbocharged inline-six engine and a twin-turbo V8, with a plug-in hybrid version coming later. Thanks to adjustments in the chassis and suspension, including a new rear-wheel steering system, it feels a bit more nimble on the road than before. The car’s driver-assistance technology includes a hands-free driving mode for highway trips. However, the standout feature is the optional 31.3-inch rear entertainment display known as the Theater Screen, which falls from the ceiling and allows passengers to watch TV shows and movies using the car’s onboard Wi-Fi system.
Porsche Cayenne Coupe
The Cayenne Coupe is a sleeker, more stylish version of the regular Cayenne SUV, designed for those who want a family-friendly vehicle with a touch of excitement. It boasts an attractive appearance and delivers a classic Porsche sports car experience on winding roads. The base model comes with a 340-hp turbocharged V6 engine, while the GTS model offers a more potent twin-turbo V8 with 453 hp. Compared to other mid-size SUVs like the Genesis GV80, BMW X5, and Volvo XC90, the Cayenne Coupe stands out for its appealing design, luxurious features, and impressive performance. Just remember, being a Porsche, it comes with a higher price tag.
