The Tata Sierra EV is an iconic car, first launched in 1991 as India’s first indigenous SUV. Despite being discontinued in 2000 due to low sales, Tata Motors is now gearing up to reintroduce this iconic vehicle in a new avatar. The Tata Sierra EV concept’s design focuses on the human experience, offering a design that reflects freedom, an outdoor lifestyle, and a unique status. The Sierra EV features timeless design elements, with connected LED headlamps, slim DRLs, and Tata’s signature grille at the front. The design also includes a unique curvilinear rear window and a three-door layout. The rear of the car boasts a clamshell tailgate and new taillights.

Powerful Performance:

The Sierra EV will be an electric SUV. It will offer Tata’s Ziptron powertrain, which includes a permanent magnet synchronous motor and a lithium-ion battery pack. The Sierra EV will deliver 150 PS of power and 300 Nm of peak torque. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 10 seconds. It offers three driving modes: Eco, City, and Sport. The vehicle will feature high ground clearance and a robust suspension system.

Expected Price:

Tata Motors is known for launching its cars at competitive prices in India. While the official pricing details for the Sierra EV have not been disclosed, it is estimated to start from Rs. 25 lakh ex-showroom. Tata has not provided official information regarding the launch date, but it is anticipated that the car will be launched soon in India. The Sierra EV will be the first car in its segment and will be available in a four-seater lounge version.
