Toyota Revealed the new 2023 GR86 Special Edition with cosmetic upgrades. The new GR86 was introduced about a year ago and already the affordable sports car is getting spiced up with a special edition. The car is a limited-run version, and it is dressed to the teeth.

What’s New?
The car comes with exclusive Solar Shift paint, along with a pair of black stripes on the rear pillar. Black chrome tips belong to a GR hatchback performance exhaust, with stainless steel pipes. The GR86 Special Edition sits on 18 inches matte black alloy wheels, coupled with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. Additional changes on the outside are the ducktail spoiler and the engraved “GR” logo. For the interior, the car gets an Ultrasuede or leather-trimmed upholstery with a special color-coded badge matching the exterior.

The Special Edition shares the Premium trim level and is limited to only 860 units. Toyota reports that the exhaust is more than just for show. It allows the engine to “leave a deep, growling auditory signature in its startup.” There are no pricing details available now, but this would cost a premium over the standard Toyota GR86 starting at $30,000.
