Vehicle License Plate “AA8” sells for $9.5 Million In Dubai.

People have always fantasised about expensive licence number plates. There has been no such month without any of those crazy stories. People are obsessed with expensive licence number plates. Especially the ones which contain fewer characters. One such case has come into the limelight from Dubai. It is one of the most expensive number plates. And this one sold for a whopping $9.5 Million. As it is one of the most expensive licence number plates ever sold. The top spot of the list goes to the “MM” license plate in California. It cost an insane $24.5 Million. It also came with a non-fungible token (NFT). The “MM” number licence plate is still up for sale. While the “F1” licence number plate in the U.K was put up for sale in 2018 at a crazy price of $20 Million.
In a Noble charity auction in Dubai, a vehicle licence plate number “AA8” was sold for 35 million dirhams ($9.5 Million). That isn’t the only licence number plate sold at that price. Licence plate numbers, “F55“, “V66“, and “Y66” all sold for more than a million dollars each. Apart from that, 10 special mobile numbers were also put up for bidding. The mobile number 5499999999 sold for the highest bid, valued at over $1.36 Million.

Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) initiated the noble auction. The auction collected a total of $14.4 Million in just two hours. All the proceeds will go to the One Billion Meals campaign. The campaign provides food to the needy, distributed to over 50 countries around the world.
