The Lucid claims that it’s new Air has a driving range of a whopping 520 miles, seriously I don’t know what’s believing and what’s not. Because at these specs the new Lucid Air is undoubtedly making innovative and impressive specs that promises a bright future for the brand and that is likely to happen.

What’s New ?
The new Lucid Air will be an all new luxury sports EV from the brand Lucid and which will likely compete with the popular Tesla Model S and the Porsche Taycan, from the more well known and established brands which have skin in the game. We’ll have to see how Lucid’s latest venture enters the EV market.

Engine, Transmission, 0-60 MPH, Top Speed & Performance
The new Lucid Air will come with a variety of variants with it’s entry level variant which will have a single motor setup which will produce 480 hp. The rest of the lineup will boast a dual motor setup with standard all wheel drive and varying power output range. starting from the Touring variant which will produce 650 horsepower, followed by the Grand Touring variant that will produce 800 horsepower while the Dream Edition will make a hefty 933 hp and the top of the line,
Dream Edition Performance which makes a whopping 1111 horsepower. And since it’s mad power the new Lucid Air can blast off like a rocket from 0-60 mph in a crazy 2.5 seconds and lucid claims that it can complete a quarter mile run in just 9.9 seconds at 144 mph which is just ridiculous fast , even fast for the high performance supercars. And it can achieve a top speed of 168 mph.
And this Lucid Air not only excels at its spec sheet but on practical use case where it delivers an agile and thrilling ride and impressive cornering grip and stability that so when it comes with a normal suspension setup instead of an air and delivers a comfortable and effortless drive, is smooth on surface with lesser noise inside the cabin which should be appreciated and just like it’s an EV it also features the regenerative braking ability to more enhance your single pedal driving experience and overall is a remarkable vehicle in terms of looks and performance and can undoubtedly make you lose your sense and make your heart pumping again indulging in a crazy adventurous and fun driving experience with a lot more drama that very few cars in the segment offers.

Battery Capacity, Range & Charging.
The new Air comes with a 112 kWh battery pack and Lucid claims a driving range of a whopping 520 miles with the Dream Edition model, followed with 471 miles with the Dream Edition Performance model and 406 miles with the Touring models. And since the it’s battery architecture is based on 900V+ it can charge at a crazy 360 KW DC fast charger which the company has planned to place it throughout the country will charge this EV in no time, and upto 300 miles of range in just 20 minutes (seriously you kidding or what?) And will also come with a a 19.2kW home charger to charge it at home from the 240 V or 120 V outlets
And the wew Lucid Air owners will enjoy three years of complimentary (read: free) fast-charging at Electrify America charging stations.

Price
With great specs, comes a great hefty price. The new Lucid Air starts with a hefty price tag of $77,400 (with standard ten airbags) which is justified if you’re looking for an EV which in itself a fashion statement and with it’s fluid design, is able to deliver a crazy performance with great driving range.
