The Mercedes Benz G Class is the most popular cross country vehicle. The new Mercedes G-Class Edition 550 will come to the United States. Limited to 200 units will be sold in USA.
Three New Colours
With Cosmetic upgrades both to the interior and exterior, the G Wagon looks RAW and aggressive. With colour options that contrast with black bumpers and fender flares. Edition 550 gets three Mercedes’ high-end Manufaktur colours. Jupiter Red, Arabian Grey, and Moonlight White instead of the standard body colours. The special edition also gets a new badge that shows the outline of a G-Class climbing a mountain denoting the unit number as 1 0f 200.
Interior & Wheels
In the interior, Mercedes G-Class Edition 550 can be configured with luxury features like two-tone Nappa leather upholstery with diamond stitching and carbon fibre trims decorating the cabin. The wheels appear to be the same black 20 inches 14 spoke standard wheels.

Engine, Top Speed & 0-60 mph
The special edition is based on the base model of G 550 SUV which is powered by 4.0-liters Twin-Turbocharge V8 engine. This powerful engine makes 416 horsepower (310 Kilowatts) and 610 Nm of torque (450 pound-feet). This ultimate Mercedes G-Class Edition 550 can go from 0-60 mph in just 5.6 seconds. And have a top speed of 155 mph which is truly insane.
Price
Mercedes hasn’t released a price for the Edition 550 yet. But we expect at least $157,000 USD for the equivalent of a G 550 with the appearance changes, as The G Manufaktur paint colors alone are a $6,500 option on the G-Class á la carte.
