Citroen India recently announced the pricing details for its 2023 Citroen C3 Aircross, with the base variant, starting at a price of Rs. 9.99 lakh. The midsize SUV offers two more variants: the Plus at Rs. 11.34 lakh and the Max at Rs. 11.99 lakh, all prices are ex-showroom in New Delhi. These three variants come in a five-seater configuration, while those looking for a seven-seater layout can opt for the Plus trim at Rs. 11.69 lakh and the Max trim at Rs. 12.34 lakh, also ex-showroom in New Delhi. The Citroen C3 Aircross offers a variety of two-tone color options, including Polar White with Platinum Grey roof. Produced at Groupe PSA’s facility in Tamil Nadu, this SUV boasts a remarkable local content of over 90 percent. Its design is characterized by distinctive split headlamps, LED DRLs, circular fog lights, a wide air dam, contrasting skid plates, blacked-out B-pillars, LED tail lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, a shark-fin antenna, and a high-mounted stop lamp.
Interior and Features
The Citroen C3 Aircross boasts an array of features, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment and a seven-inch digital instrument console. Inside, the SUV offers a dual-tone interior theme, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument console, drive modes, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and adjustable AC vents for the second row.
Engine and Performance
The Citroen C3 Aircross SUV rides on the CMP platform, the same as the C3 compact hatchback. It has a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine generating 110 PS and 190 Nm of peak torque. The engine puts the power out through a six-speed manual transmission. It comes only with a manual gearbox, an automatic transmission option is expected to join the lineup in the near future. This powertrain offers a claimed mileage of 18.5 kmpl, with an automatic transmission variant anticipated later.
