1. Tata Curvv EV
Tata Motors recently unveiled the Curvv EV concept at Auto Expo 2023. This futuristic SUV coupe promises a blend of the ruggedness and durability of an SUV with the sportiness and elegance of a coupe. The Curvv EV will built on Tata’s Gen2 platform and will feature a robust 60 kWh battery that will deliver a range of 550 Km.
2. Tata Harrier EV
Tata Motors, known for its popular SUV Harrier, is planning to launch an electric variant, Tata Harrier E, in India by 2026. Like the Curvv EV, The Harrier EV will also pack a 60 kWh battery. The electrified Harrier will be based on the newly released 2024 Harrier Facelift.
3. Maruti Suzuki eVX
Maruti Suzuki presented the eVX, a mid-sized electric SUV, at Auto Expo 2023. Developed as a joint venture with Toyota, the eVX boasts a bold and muscular design and will be an intriguing addition to the EV market.
4. Hyundai Creta EV
Hyundai’s beloved Creta SUV is set to transition into an electric avatar, with testing underway. Expected to hit the Indian market by 2025, the electric Creta aims to retain the appeal of its design and features.
5. Honda Elevate EV
Honda has introduced the Elevate SUV in India, receiving an excellent response. Honda plans to launch an electric version, built on the same platform as the ICE engine Elevate. This electrified SUV is expected to make its debut in India by 2026.
6. Toyota Compact Electric SUV
Toyota will also enter the Indian electric SUV market. They will launch its version of Maruti Suzuki’s eVX. The electric SUV will share the same platform as the eVX, the Toyota electric SUV will offer similar features with minor cosmetic differences. It is projected to be available in India by 2026.
